Apple Reportedly Planning iPhone 17e Launch for Early 2027

The Verge

Supply chain sources say Apple is preparing a budget iPhone 17e with an A19 chip and Apple Intelligence support.

Supply chain sources cited in a new report say Apple is preparing to launch an iPhone 17e — a successor to the iPhone 16e — in early 2027. The device is said to use the same A19 chip found in the standard iPhone 17 lineup, bringing full Apple Intelligence support to Apple's most affordable model for the first time.

The report also suggests a slightly larger display than the outgoing 16e, though the design is expected to closely follow Apple's existing budget iPhone form factor.
